The Skills – The Cakes – The Flavors
Over the years, Noga has developed special baking and creation techniques that ensure the cakes will remain FRESH and beautiful for a long time. She has trained her talented team in the art of both Sugar Dough sculpting and baking to perfection. Together they mix, bake, sculpt, frost, roll, cut, weave and knit… using only the finest, most delicious materials and ingredients. They intricately sculpt the very fine details of the figures, to complete the aesthetic result: metal swords, lace serviettes, embroidery, fancy jewels and old wooden treasure boxes, are but a few samples from Noga's rich creative arsenal.
Like the design concepts and size, many different flavors can be chosen: varieties of chocolate, whole-wheat flour carrot cake with walnuts, vanilla cake with chocolate chips, marble cake with Belgian chocolate, peach cake with cinnamon or nuts & raisin seasoning, dried fruit cakes and more ... Even gluten free cakes are available. And maybe the most important ingredient of all - a whole lot of love!
Beyond Noga ..
In addition to being the heart of Noga’s Cakes, her artistic soul has steered her towards many other creative activities. She designs and builds amazing Automata models, sculpts and paints, builds legendary dovecotes, feeds the birds that visit her garden, and writes books for cake designers around the globe. Everything Noga undertakes is executed with good taste, endless creativity and a loving sense of humor.
The Wooden Hut
"Show me your house and I'll tell you who you are". In Noga's case, this is a key point.
NOGA'S CAKES are created in a beautiful wooden hut at the edge of her garden, surrounded with trees and flowers – a peaceful, beautiful space that provides inspiration to Noga and her team.
Noga's products are "Kasher Lemehadrin", under the continuous supervision of the “Chatam Sofer “ group and also authorized by Rabbi David Brodman - Savyon's community Rabbi.
Noga has developed unique techniques for the processing of sugar dough and her own special methods for creating original concepts. For example, when knitted embroidery was required to complete a legendary design, Noga actually knitted the details in wool, then produced special molds to duplicate the authentic knitted wool designs in a variety of colors. Noga generously shares her knowledge, ideas and extraordinary techniques not only with professionals, but also with laymen who desire to bake and create their own designed and sculpted cakes. Her beautifully illustrated books incorporate detailed instructions for the selection of colors, creation of all the components, and how to assemble the final construction.
